About our Company
Logistic Services of Idaho began with a single export customer in November of 1999. Early in 2000 we became a local Public Customs Brokerage firm - the only one in Idaho. We also opened the first CFS (Container Freight Station) in Idaho.
In June of 2000 the company incorporated to become LSIdaho Inc. At that time we began our local trucking operations with pickup, delivery and distribution throughout SW Idaho.
Fast forward to June 2011:
- We are still the only Public Customs Brokerage firm in Idaho.
- We expanded our Import Services as a "Remote Location Filer" - which allows us to make entries at any USA port.
- Our CFS expanded into a Class 3 Bonded Warehouse, allowing importers to "defer" duty payments with warehouse entries and withdrawals.
- We offer our services as your traffic department, moving freight domestically and internationally through our network of forwarders and service providers.
- Our trucking division moves freight between Ontario, Oregon and
South Central Idaho on a daily basis.
- Our warehousing has expanded to over 12,000 square feet of
space.
